Oh, look. I’m back.

I’m on vacation from work now, so I finally have some time over for posting. Thought I’d begin with s nail post.
This is the first time I’ve used nailpolish since September due to my work.

I went with a French manicure, it’s my go to design and what I feel most comfortable in.
This pink hue is darker than I usually use, but I like it.

I’ll try uploading some more post during my vacation.

Teeth whitening – beconfiDent

Today I got a package with teeth whitening products that I ordered last week from beconfiDent. (

I ordered a full package with trays, whitening gel, a whitening pen, tooth gloss and toothpaste. And instructions, obviously.

At the moment I’m doing my first 15 minutes.

Starting kit
This contained the trays, gel and pen.

Everything collected
I started with shaping the trays, dipping them in hot water and shaping them after my teeth. Then I applied a small amount of whitening gel un the trays and but them on the teeth where they’ll sit for 15 minutes.

Whitening gel.
Melon flavoured, pretty okay flavour, most home kits have mint flavoured though.

Whitening pen
I got this to be able to do touch ups. So I obviously isn’t trying this now, thinking about asking my fiancée to try this though. Or get another one for him.

Tooth gloss, mint flavour.
This leaves a protective film.over the teeth, and some extra luster according to the information.
I’ll probably use this on days/evening when I know I’ll need some extra care, for example if I’m going out to drink red wine.

Whitening toothpaste
Doesn’t really need a description. I won’t use this every day, but probably a few times a week.

And here are pictures from the first treatment.

My teeth before the first treatment.

With the trays in.
Oooh, sexy!

I sleep with a bite guard because I grind my teeth at night, so I didn’t find these uncomfortable.

And after the first one.

Not really any difference between the before and after picture, but realistically one time isn’t enough, but my fiancée said there was some change. So I’ll do a few more times and then I’ll post pictures again.

edit, May 6th.
When I woke up in the morning I noticed a slight change.

White Musk Smoky Rose

The Body Shop had membership days last week with double points on your purchase and I decided to pick up something from one of the less fruity series.
I wanted something where I could get body wash, moisturiser and perfume in the same scent, so I have something I can use right before going out without having scents clashing
I decided on the White Musk Smoky Rose products.

I got the Shower Gel, Body Lotion and Eau de Parfume on the membership days and since those points gave me 2 bonus certificates I went back today and got the Body Mist.

Shower Gel and Body lotion.

The Shower Gel lathers pretty good, cleans well and doesn’t feel drying, it doesn’t foam as much in bathwater as the other shower gels, but that doesn’t really matter just could have been a nice bonus.

The Body Lotion feels nice and is quickly absorbed and that’s perfect if I want to get dressed quickly after.
It doesn’t leave the skin sticky which is really nice. I haven’t used it enough to know the moisturising ability, but I’ll keep using it post a larger review.

The Eau De Parfume I have only tried once so I can’t really say anything about it yet. I got the Eau De Parfume instead of the Eau De Toilette because the scent usually lasts longer and I got this for evening use.

Then I went back and got the Body Mist because I might want to use this during the day too, and then I’d like a softer scent.

Depending on how often I use this and the hold of the mist and perfume I might get the Eau De Toilette in a while. I have two small samples of that one to try first though.

As for the actual scent of these products, it’s lovely. I’ve never been good at describing perfume notes or scents over all.
The musk is not too overwhelming, the rose plays a pretty big part though.
If I would put words on it I’d say it’s a spiced flower scent. It’s nice, youthful but still elegant. I also think the design off the packaging is gorgeous with its dark purple colour and pure and clean look.

These product are still new for me, so I’ll post another review when I’ve tried them for a while.

Cupcake Nails

I were taking care of my nails today and were thinking about making them red. But my friend Miranda wanted me to do cupcake nails. So here they are. This is before i removed excess polish from my fingers.

I decided to show both mmy left and right hand. Usually I fail on my right hand, but I’m pretty hapy with these.
The purple polishes, the bue and the bright pink one are Depend Polishes and the white and light pink  ar from E.L.F
The basecoat is from O.P.I and then I used first O.P.I Top coat  then Seche Vite Fast drying Top Coat.

I usually don’t do nail art on myself. So we’ll see how long this gets to stay on.
