100% natural lip roll on in berry.
I’ve tried the mint one and I’ve never really liked these. I don’t think they’re very moisturising. I like the feel and scent and the applicator is nice.
The berry scent is pleasant but I prefer the mint one.
I bought a highlighter and a bronzer the other day. Thought I’d show them here.
I like these, the bronzer works great for shading. The highlighter is actually the furst highlighter I’ve ever hade, but I’ve liked it the det times I tried it.
I’ll try them more before writing a larger review.
On the fourth I got…
Absinthe purifying hand gel.
This is supposed to be good for removing sharp/bad scents from your hands. The next time I grate garlic I’ll try it.
I’ve never actually bought anything from the Absinthe range, most because I’m not overly fond of the scent. But if this works, something might get a place in my home.
The long wait is over, today I could finally start opening my christmas calendar!
Window 1 had…
A Honeymania, Shower Gel
I’m very pleased with this, I actually didn’t think it would contain any Honeymania products.
I’ve wanted to try the honeymania range since it’s also more of a neutral scent, and because the range contains a bath product. Wich I have a sample of at home that I was going to try today, so it was the perfect Day to get the shower gel on.
In my last post I mentioned some things I got/bought for my birthday.
I’ve tried some of them and here is a firts impression of the Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask from The Body Shop
Picture from The Body Shop’s Homepage
The description says to Put on a thin layer, leave on for about 10 minutes and then just wipe of the excess. So when I tried this, that’s what I did, except I left it on for about 20 minutes.
My first thought instantly was “wow, my skin is really smooth now”. Before using this I had some dry and even some flaky parts on my face, but after only one use those were gone, even now 4 days later they haven’t returned. So I’ll definetly use this more to see if it works in the long run. I’m also thinking of using it as an overnight mask, putting it on in the evening and then sleeping on my back with this on. Since it is a sink in mask I don’t really believe you can leave it on for too long.
I did notice that while it sunk in well it left a kind of sticky residue, so while it probably works as a night moisturiser I wouldn’t use it in the day.
The texture is gelly, i found that the best way of getting it up from the tub wasnt to sweep my finger in it but tap my finger into it.
So far I can’t say much about the scent since I haven’t decided what I think of it yet, but there will be a more elaborate review when I’ve tried this more.
Having tried only this product from the Vitamin E series makes me want to try more of them, Facial wash, hand treatment and body butter, to mention some.
and the 24:th and last window contained.
Shea Body Butter – 200 ml
Not much of a surprise that it was a body butter, but I really like that it was the shea one
I’ve been planning on buying a more neutral body butter, but I’ve tried to choose between Shea, Olive, vitamin E and Aloe.
The only problem I have with the shea scent is that it reminds me of Sun Screen, which makes me long for sund when I smell it.
As for the texture and feeling on the skin it’s like their other butters, I like it but if you need something that absorbes fast, don’t buy a butter.
As for the pictures in this post, my step-dad wanted the camera for the holidays, so I’m using my compact camera.
And with this I’ll wish my readers a Merry Christmas, I’m going to go fix the christmas ham for lunch.
What’s your favorite christmas traditions, food, decorations and movie?
In the 23:d window there was
Olive Beautifying Oil – 100 ml
I can honestly say, ever since I saw the look of the calendar this year I’ve been waiting for an olive product, it just felt as it would have at least one. I was right.
The beautifying Oils are dry oils that are quickly absorbed and fit to use everywere, face, body and hair, and claims to moisturise, smoothen an illuminate the skin. I have never used one of these regularly but I have the sweet lemon one since before. The olive scent is mild and I like it. I will use this more often than the lemon one.
As for the uses of the oil, I can’t answer yet. I have used it in my hair but didn’t like it. I like the feeling of it on the skin. I’m thinking of doing a test were I use the oil on half my face and my regular moisturizer on the other half, and the same with my legs. To see if the skin get different. But I think I’ll wait a while with that.
