Christmas calendars

So. After a long time without posting I’m going to start being a good girl and post a little again.

December is drawing closer. Tomorrow it’s December first, and we know what that means.

Time to start opening Christmas calendars.

This year, I have two. One from The Body Shop

 And one from Rituals.

I’m looking forward to both if these. Though honestly, a bit more to the Rituals one, I’ve barely tried their products, but ice tried most from body shop.

Like usually I’ll post daily in what I hit behind each window, describe the products a bit and in the future do a review on some of them.

Hope everyone has had a good year doe far.

Sunny day

Today when I got up, it was sunny and not a cloud in sight. So I put up the hammock on our balcony, put on a bikini some tanning oil and sunglasses,  brought a book and now I’m just lying in the sun hoping to get some colour.

I use a tanning oil from loreal with sunscreen that has spf 15, I usually don’t need sunscreen at all – I never burn – which is why I use an oil, protects but also helps get more colour.
I’m going to need to buy a stronger sunscreen for my tattoo though, so it doesn’t fade.

I love the summer and sunny days I can just drop everything and spend hours in the hammock. Sure it’s spring now and the last Snow just disappeared, but if it’s sunny and warm, I’m happy.

Christmas is coming up!

It’s just a week left until December and I’m getting more and more excited each day!

I’ve gotten a calander this year to. The Ultimate Christmas Calendar from The Body Shop, and I’m really excited to start opening it and showing off the days in the blog.

On December 7:th I’m going to my new jobs christmas party, I will post a picture of my dress and makeup that day, or the day after.

I would love some tips on products to review or other things you’d like me to write about.
Products, make-up, skincare, nails, anything!

First impression: Vitimin E Sink In Moisture Mask

In my last post I mentioned some things I got/bought for my birthday.
I’ve tried some of them and here is a firts impression of the Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask from The Body Shop

vitamin e mask
P
icture from The Body Shop’s Homepage

The description says to Put on a thin layer, leave on for about 10 minutes and then just wipe of the excess. So when I tried this, that’s what I did, except I left it on for about 20 minutes.

My first thought instantly was “wow, my skin is really smooth now”. Before using this I had some dry and even some flaky parts on my face, but after only one use those were gone, even now  4 days later they haven’t returned. So I’ll definetly use this more to see if it works in the long run. I’m also thinking of using it as an overnight mask, putting it on in the evening and then sleeping on my back with this on. Since it is a sink in mask I don’t really believe you can leave it on for too long.

I did notice that while it sunk in well it left a kind of sticky residue, so while it probably works as a night moisturiser I wouldn’t use it in the day.
The texture is gelly, i found that the best way of getting it up from the tub wasnt to sweep my finger in it but tap my finger into it.
So far I can’t say much about the scent since I haven’t decided what I think of it yet, but there will be a more elaborate review when I’ve tried this more.

Having tried only this product from the Vitamin E series makes me want to try more of them, Facial wash, hand treatment and body butter, to mention some.

Garnier BB-Cream

Today I got my first BB-Cream ever, I decided on the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB-Cream for sensitive skin.
I chose this because I usually like Garniers products, and I picked the one for sensitive skin because it doesn’t have perfume in it.
I hope it works, I’d still like to try other BB-Creams to have something to compare with. But this is a start.

I’ll try this either tonight or tomorrow.
But I’m not sure if I’ll post a first impression review on this or not. I might just wait until I can make a larger review.
