Not much of a surprise that it was a body butter, but I really like that it was the shea one
I’ve been planning on buying a more neutral body butter, but I’ve tried to choose between Shea, Olive, vitamin E and Aloe.
The only problem I have with the shea scent is that it reminds me of Sun Screen, which makes me long for sund when I smell it.
As for the texture and feeling on the skin it’s like their other butters, I like it but if you need something that absorbes fast, don’t buy a butter.
As for the pictures in this post, my step-dad wanted the camera for the holidays, so I’m using my compact camera.
And with this I’ll wish my readers a Merry Christmas, I’m going to go fix the christmas ham for lunch.
What’s your favorite christmas traditions, food, decorations and movie?
I can honestly say, ever since I saw the look of the calendar this year I’ve been waiting for an olive product, it just felt as it would have at least one. I was right.
The beautifying Oils are dry oils that are quickly absorbed and fit to use everywere, face, body and hair, and claims to moisturise, smoothen an illuminate the skin. I have never used one of these regularly but I have the sweet lemon one since before. The olive scent is mild and I like it. I will use this more often than the lemon one.
As for the uses of the oil, I can’t answer yet. I have used it in my hair but didn’t like it. I like the feeling of it on the skin. I’m thinking of doing a test were I use the oil on half my face and my regular moisturizer on the other half, and the same with my legs. To see if the skin get different. But I think I’ll wait a while with that.
Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter for dry hair – 200 ml
As I guessed I got a hairbutter too.
I have this one since earlier too and I like it. I don’t reach for it since I have my Macadamia Hari Masque. But I usuallt keep this in my gym bag.
It smells sweet, kind of like honey and the texture is creamy and thick.
It leaves the hair soft and just like the schampoo and conditioner its free from Silicones, Parabens and Colourants.
I already have a bottle of this foot lotion, and I use it at least once a week.
I try to moisturize my feet everyday before I go to bed. Bu usually I forget. I should put a foot cream visible on the nightstand.
I have four different foot creams, this one, the Peppermint Intense Foot Rescue and the Hemp Foot Protector, all from The Body Shop and then I have a Mineral Foot Cream from Shemen Amour.
I think the one I like the scent best on is the one from Shemen Amour, it smells sweet and almost fruity. while the one I like the least is the Hemp one, so I only use then one when I’m really dry.
Of the peppermint ones I use The Intense Foot Rescue more often than the Cooling Foot Lotion, simply because I think it smells better. But the cooling foot lotion is the one I massage in after a pedicure.
I already have this massage oil and I Love it.
I’m a massage junkie. I love getting massage and this oil feels wonderful on the skin and it smells divine (pun intended)
The scent is dominated by lavender, it also contains camomille, but I don’t know if I feel the scent of that since I don’t know how it smell.
I really like getting a massage with this in the evening since it really helpes me relax.
There are more products in this scent, there’s a shower gel,a lotion, a body butter, a bath powder and an essential oil. I have the body butter and the shower gel. I really want the other products too. especially the bath powder.
I’ve actually had one of these in the bathroom for some time now, and it’s really nice. The smell is subtle, just like the hand creams and it feels smooth on your skin and gives a nice lather. It is soap free, usually that means that it’s not as drying as regular soap.
The one in my bathroom is almost empty, so this will come in handy.
I have tried the wild rose one as well and like them both. This has a milder scent so it’s more suitible for men, but the wild rose one has a pretty strong rose scent that might scare them away from using it. But it smells wonderful.
I myself actually prefer the scent of the wild rose series.
I’ve used this hand cream before and I really like it. It moisturizes well and the scent isn’t too strong. I also use this as a cuticle cream.
I have had two small tubes of this and gace one to my mother, the other one is about half empty. I also have the Almond Hand and Nail Butter. But usually I carry a hand cream in my bag. so this one is really nice to have.
I prefer using the wild rose one, but since that’s heavily scented the almond one is better for carrying around.
As I guessed I got a conditioner too.
It’s from the same range as the shampoo I got in the fourth window.
As I said then I tend to like the conditioner more than the shampoo. But I’ll try these out together later today. I also have a Moisture Hair Butter that I’ll use. So I can make a first impression review on these products together, I’ll post that tonight. Sure I’ve used the Hair Butter before, but still.
The Conditioner smells like the shampoo, sort of sweet but not to much. I like the scent. The texture is firm, just like I think a conditioner should be.
Just like the Rainforest Shampoos, the Rainforest Conditioners – and the hair butters – are without silicones, sulphates, colourants and parabens, which I think is really good.
I actually don’t like that I got full sized shampoo and conditioner in the calendar since I most likely won’t use them that much.
Yay. Now i have a facial wash, a day cream and a night cream from this range.
I love the dark packaging and this one has a pump dispenser, just like the day cream.
Just like the other two products, the 98% ingredients of natural origin claim is on the bottle and it’s also free of parabens and silicones.
The scent goes well with the others, but I still think hairdresser when I smell these products.
I’m looking forward to trying this one tonight. I’ll probably use these only for around 2 weeks now to see how they work.
This is actually the first time ever i have a day and a night cream, usually I use the same cream.
I actually hope i won’t fall completely in love with these products since the full size ones are about three times the prize of the L’oreal products I use know. But at the same time I’d love having a skin care routine from The Body Shop. So we’ll see how it goes.
Last year I got a small bottle of their Rainforest Volume Shampoo and I really didn’t like it. I’ve also tried the Rainforest Shine Shampoo and didn’t like that one either.
This Shampoo is for dry and damaged hair and is supposedly moisturising for the hair.
It has a pretty discreet scent that’s a bit sweet, at least in the bottle. It might be stronger when used.
It’s a clear formula that’s a bit runnier than shampoo normally is, I didn’t have to squeeze the bottle to get the product out to look at it. For me this is a bad thing since shampoos that are runnier can “escape” more easily if you for example have the bottle in your bag, and that can get really messy and frustrating.
But the Rainforest Shampoos are without silicones, sulphates, colourants and parabens, which is really good.
I would like to find a Body ShopRainforest Shampoo that I like, but since I’ve disliked the ones I’ve tried so far I don’t really feel like buying them. But I will try this so I can make a review, but my expectations aren’t that high actually. Especially not since I’m completely devoted to my Macadamia Natural Oil Products.
I am however hoping on more hairproducts in this calendar, I’d love to try some of their styling products some time and the Conditioner and Hair Butter I tend to like.
I’m hoping I’ll get a styling product in the calendar, I’m guessing I’ll get conditioner and maybe a hair butter.
