I have tried a few of these oils, never actually gotten stuck on them. And I’m not sure I’ll use this one, since I’m not a fan of the Moringa scent.
But the beautifying oils usually feel nice on the skin.
The Swedish Medical Products Agency
(the Food and Drug Administration in Sweden) have forbidden further sales of Depends Gel Nail kits, the same kit I own.
There have been cases where people have been getting allergic reaction in the form of wounds, blisters and cracks on their fingers and toes from using these kits. Even after using them several times without problems.
I won’t be using this kit again. I myself have noticed that my cuticles and the tips of the fingers have been really dry, which has resulted in itching leading to smaller wounds and the skin peeling. Due to the pictures I’ve seen of peoples reactions, my dry/flaky/lightly wounded fingers are a very light reaction, so I’m considering myself lucky. There will be some extra nailcare on my side until my fingers feel normal again.
As promised here’s a colour swatch and comparision of the Garnier BB-Cream in Light and the Maybelline BB-Cream in Light.
On the top is the Garnier one and on the bottom the Maybelline one As you can see the top one is clearly visible while the bottom one is almost completely blended. So the maybelline one was a far better match for me.
I can’t say yet how it works since I’ve only used it ones. So I’ll get back on that.
Here comes my first impression on the Tigi Bed head Colour Goddess Products.
The first thing that strikes me is the scent, it’s sort of fudge/toffee-ish. I can’t really decide yet if I like it or not.
The products however were pretty good.
My hair was clean after shampooing and of course, felt a little rough. But the Conditioner took care of that.
After I let my hair air dry it still felt smooth, but a little dry. Weather it will keep feeling dry I don’t know, that might just be until the hair gets used to the new products. It was easy to comb out and the scent lingered in my hair for a while, but not to noticable.
I will of course post a more detailed review after using the products for a while, but so far so good.
Not much of a surprise that it was a body butter, but I really like that it was the shea one
I’ve been planning on buying a more neutral body butter, but I’ve tried to choose between Shea, Olive, vitamin E and Aloe.
The only problem I have with the shea scent is that it reminds me of Sun Screen, which makes me long for sund when I smell it.
As for the texture and feeling on the skin it’s like their other butters, I like it but if you need something that absorbes fast, don’t buy a butter.
As for the pictures in this post, my step-dad wanted the camera for the holidays, so I’m using my compact camera.
And with this I’ll wish my readers a Merry Christmas, I’m going to go fix the christmas ham for lunch.
What’s your favorite christmas traditions, food, decorations and movie?
I can honestly say, ever since I saw the look of the calendar this year I’ve been waiting for an olive product, it just felt as it would have at least one. I was right.
The beautifying Oils are dry oils that are quickly absorbed and fit to use everywere, face, body and hair, and claims to moisturise, smoothen an illuminate the skin. I have never used one of these regularly but I have the sweet lemon one since before. The olive scent is mild and I like it. I will use this more often than the lemon one.
As for the uses of the oil, I can’t answer yet. I have used it in my hair but didn’t like it. I like the feeling of it on the skin. I’m thinking of doing a test were I use the oil on half my face and my regular moisturizer on the other half, and the same with my legs. To see if the skin get different. But I think I’ll wait a while with that.
Also a product that I already own, and probably my most frequently used hand cream.
I love it. Its smooth on the skin and smells faint and not overpowering. It lingers a while on the skin so it shouldn’t be used if you’re in a hurry.
This is always a part of my manicure routine, both on the nails and the hands.
